This is Gene Harmon owner of Harmon Tech. As a Network Engineer I have worked for hundreds of customers throughout Southwest Virginia over the years, including School Systems, Banks, Hospitals, Hotels, City Municipals and various Small Medium Businesses throughout the area. Along with my experience I also possess a Cisco Certified Networking Professional certification in Routing & Switching and a Cisco Certified Networking Professional certification in Security.
Where I differ is my strong commitment to integrity and providing the best quality service and support possible to customers not just as a statement but in actual practice. I understand and relate to customers issues and frustrations when dealing with technology that causes problems and does not work as intended. I take a personal approach when dealing with customer issues because it can be very frustrating and stressful dealing with slow connections, random disconnects and services or features not working properly which effects everyone involved not just the people directly using or responsible for the systems but also the people who rely on the systems such as other co-workers, customers and shareholders. That is why my goal is to find and resolve all problems affecting a customers network in order to make everyone's lives a bit better, because nobody likes dealing with technology problems and they should not have to.
